1. Basis and scope
These terms govern use of elvanto.digital, operated by Elvanto (Pty) Ltd (Pty Ltd), trading as Elvanto. They are concluded under the law of the Republic of South Africa. By using the site you accept them.
Elvanto provides reputation management services: monitoring and improving how a person or business is represented in artificial intelligence systems and in the media.

3. Nature of the site
The site provides information about our services. It is not an offer capable of acceptance. No services contract arises from browsing or from sending an enquiry.
4. Contact form
When you submit the contact form, we receive the details you enter (such as your name, email address and message). We use them only to answer your enquiry and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one.
Do not submit sensitive information, identity numbers or payment details through the form.
5. Email subscription
If you subscribe, we send you updates on reputation in AI and media. Subscription is voluntary. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each message or by writing to [email protected].
6. Personal information
We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Details are in our Privacy Policy. Cookies are described in our Cookie Policy.
7. Services agreed separately
Paid services are provided only under a written agreement or accepted proposal. Where it conflicts with these terms, that agreement prevails for those services.
8. No guaranteed outcomes
Content on the site is general information. Outputs of AI systems and decisions of media outlets are controlled by third parties. We do not guarantee any particular ranking, wording, removal, correction or publication.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site. In particular, you must not:
- attempt unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
- introduce malicious code;
- submit unlawful, defamatory or misleading content;
- submit another person's personal information without authority;
- scrape the site by automated means without our written consent.
10. Intellectual property
All text, graphics, logos and layout on the site belong to Elvanto (Pty) Ltd or its licensors and are protected by the Copyright Act 98 of 1978 and related law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written consent.
11. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Accuracy of content
We take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and current. It is provided "as is", and we may change or remove content without notice.
13. Availability
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend the site for maintenance or security reasons.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elvanto (Pty) Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit or reputation, arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
15. Electronic communications
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 applies. Communications sent by email or through the site are treated as written communications.
16. Marketing consent
We send direct marketing only to subscribers who have opted in, or to existing clients as POPIA section 69 permits. Each message contains an opt-out.
17. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its processing, by writing to [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforeg.org.za.
18. Changes
We may amend these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after posting means acceptance. Current year of publication: 2026.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by South African law. The South African courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights to approach other forums, such as the National Consumer Commission or a consumer tribunal.
